The Country House Restaurant occupies a farmhouse built in 1710. It served many purposes throughout its history and become a restaurant in 1970. After a couple iterations, it became The Country House Restaurant in 1978 and was recently voted the most romantic restaurant on Long Island.

The ghost of a former owner is said to haunt the premises.
